Highlights:
In 1996 I created my IVI® Interactive Virtual Identity model * in Finland, having Telecom Finland Oy (today Sonera) as a company case. When I arrived to Belgium
I realized that the market opportunities were potential so I reshaped my IVI multimedia presentation under a new name IDCI (Interactive Digital Corporate Identity) in order to commercialize it among Belgian Marketing enterprises.
At the end I made a partnership with Riverland Next Generation, by then a succesful Belgian Internet business' enterprise, today just part of the "once-succesful-corporations' graveyard".
After months of hard work and countless contacts and interviews I realized a deceiving reality: the Belgian market, at that moment, simply was not ready for the IDCI concept. Sadly most, if not all of the local companies lacked the necessary vision and thorough understanding of what corporate identity is all about, especially when going digital.
Almost 7 years after, the market's opportunities (to profit from e.g. my IDCI model) are still there, yet the big question remains the same:
Have some Belgian enterprises already understood such a complex and restless whole picture?
I believe they just might have, I am quite positive about it and feel that these corporations have really reached the blessings of a priceless Vision.
