Highlights:

Are you a declared TV lover and also familiar with the 70's broadcasts?
Then you might be also very familiar with CHiP's, a sort of mentally-cheap but succesful TV series from the 70's. There two guys, the officer Frank "Ponch" Poncharello (the classical Latin lover played by Erik Estrada), and his blond partner, the officer Jon Baker (played by Larry Wilcox, who also played in Lassie and MASH). For years CHiPs entertained millions of TV lovers around the world.

In 1982, Larry left "CHiPs" to pursue other projects. He formed his own production company, Wilcox Productions, and he was and still is the president of MediaCore, a software company specializing in CD-ROMs and Internet compression technology.

Well, Mammoth was Larry's dream at the end of the 90's. One day day he got to know about me while working for Digia and in one of his visits to Finland he asked me to work for his big Dream: Mammoth, the movie, which was based on a tender story: "A kid lost in a cave during an earthquake in L.A., after a big asteroid hit our planet. This cave was the threshold into another world, the world of mammoths and Sabretoothed tigers."

Larry Wilcox needed then to present his project to potential producers back in Hollywood. There my friend and Director's Guru Hannu Rihiimaki and I came into the picture, by designing and authoring the Mammoth's solicitation cdrom in order to help Mammoth come out from dreams into the screens. Years went by and it looks like the dream still waits for the celluloid to embrace it, though.

Maybe one day... dreams never die,
so good luck Mr. Wilcox!
